A great game finishes 2-1 between the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars and the Lakeside Vikings varsity boys'. A late, game-tying penalty was chalked off because of a double touch—tough luck for the Vikings.    Danny is a hard-working, no-nonsense defender. Not afraid of getting his hands dirty and putting his body on the line, he is what it means to be a defender. Physical and aggressive, Villazon does a great job of stepping up and winning the ball, as well as tracking back with speed and intent. Having good awareness, he is always aware of who is a threat, and when in possession of the ball, picking out players. He is strong defense, holding his ground and line well, making it hard for players to try and beat him on a 1v1 or make a run in through the defense. Villazon is a great traditional defender; giving it his all game in game out.     As a left-winger, Rojas is very dangerous when on the ball. He is quick, dribbling quickly and precisely, keeping the ball close to his feet. Agile, he weaves in and out of players, skillfully showcasing step-overs or Maradona spins. He likes to make forward runs down the sideline, and check in to receive the ball. He is also an excellent reader game, knowing when to drop and drop quick, and when there is space in the defense to run into. Rojas is a threat on and off the ball, unpredictable and at times unstable, making him a truly unique and dangerous player.     A workhorse and team player in every sense of the words, Donner is an invaluable player to his side. Constantly and consistently running up and down, side to side the pitch, fighting for the ball, helping to defend or carry the ball up the field. He is great with the ball, dribbling with speed, keeping the ball close to his feet, and getting his head up. Donner is always aware of his surroundings and reads the game well, knowing what he is going to next and what his options are. His expert passing and distribution allow him to pick out players and switch the field with ease and precision. Strong, tall, physical, and aggressive, he is always fighting to the win the ball and getting the ball off him proves to be a tough ask given his stature and mentality. Donner is very well-rounded and talented player, able to play anywhere on the field and do a job.     A traditional center-back, Avila is no-nonsense, strong, physical, and aggressive. He holds his line very well and does a good job stepping up and putting pressure on opposition players. He is comfortable when on the ball, never rushing the pass or forcing the play. He possesses good awareness and distribution, picking out players/runs or splitting the field. He times his tackles to perfection, taking the play out, but out with ball 9 times out of 10. Avila is a consistent and solid defender, providing stability and confidence to the back line.     Flores is a versatile player, able to play anywhere in the midfield and in the attack, he proves to be a valuable player for his team. He is tidy and technical, keeping the ball close to his feet and playing to feet consistently. He is a great carrier of the ball, making darting runs through opposition players with speed and purpose. Smart on the ball, he never forces the play, always looking for the best option and isn't afraid of playing it back. Flores is great player to have in any squad, starting or coming off the bench.
