OHSAA D3 Mens State Championships: Stand-Out Performances

Spending the majority of the game attacking from the wing, Faber was a handful for the defense. He is a very decisive attacker who uses quick changes of pace to gain positioning over defenders. He made several dangerous crosses throughout the first half and had a beautiful assist early in the second half. Wilkes was the leading scorer for indian hill this season, playing a center forward position. He moved to multiple different positions in the frontline during this game and played a large portion of the second half in the defensive midfield position. Wilkes used his size and athleticism to make big defensive plays throughout the second half. Lucas made multiple great defensive plays throughout the game and worked to play simple and maintain possession. Lucas took the majority of his team's corners and free kicks, serving in some very dangerous crosses. Elias displayed a high work rate all game and covered the entire field. He was constantly moving into open spaces to receive the ball. Keelins on the ball skill stood out to me the most in this game. Keelins team struggled to possess the ball in this match up, which limited his involvement in the game, but when Keelin was on the ball he was composed and skillful. He is a very athletic player and defends well. Keelin is capable of contributing to the attack as well. Brady was a crucial piece of the puzzle for Indian Hills State Championship. He's composed on the ball and keeps possession well. Indian Hill did well to maintain control of the ball for the majority of this mathchup and Brady was largely responsible for this. Brady is not afraid to fly into a tackle and wins a large majority of these enounters. His skill on the ball allows him to get involved in the attack as well.
