In a tense match between the Trinity Christian Lions and the Upson Lee Knights, the Lions pulled off a second-half comeback in front of their home fans to secure a narrow 2-1 victory. The game had it all, from spectacular goals and rough challenges, here are some of the players that stood out from Tuesday night's contest.

A target man striker, Jackson is a versatile threat up top for the Lions. He is a tall striker who is aggressive in getting after the ball up top. He has a great shot with both feet, specifically his right foot, forcing the keeper to make some top saves including one that was destined for the top corner. The one thing I would like to see more out of Jackson is to take more shots and grow his confidence in his shooting, as whenever he sets aim on goal it seems as if it's going in. He is a threat on crosses, which isn't a surprise given his tall frame. With still an entire season and a half left, expect more goals out of Jackson for this Lions squad.

The man of the match for me, Collin is a player who looks to control the game from the midfield and did a great job at doing so Tuesday evening. A captain on the squad, Collin showcased some great leadership and skill in the Lions' victory. His signature move seems to be the cut inside onto his right foot, which he used to score the game-winning goal in the second half from outside the box. His dribbling and passing looked very on par, as he delivered some nice balls in from corners and free-kicks as the set piece taker of the team.

A motor unlike almost any player I have seen, Tison is a workhorse of a right back for the Lions. Giving maximum effort whenever he is on the pitch, Tison made some really strong challenges to gain possession back for his side. He is extremely quick as well, covering lots of areas on the pitch and making good overlapping runs as well. Even if he gets beat, his recovery is strong and can make up for a missed tackle by getting a block in, a really good trait to see out of a young player. Only a freshman, the future seems bright for the young right back.

Brian was a catalyst in the midfield for the Knights. The center mid made some great plays on the ball, using his quick one-two dribbling moves to beat defenders. He picked out some superb passes as well, switching the ball across the field and playing in through balls for his strikers to get in behind the defense. He scored arguably the goal of the season in the first half, as the lone Knights goal came from an outside the box volley which he struck perfectly into the top corner past the keeper. He is a player that thrives with the ball at his feet, and can produce some magical moments when he gets the ball.

Another freshman defender on this Lions side, Noah, is a physical center-back who is not shy about getting stuck when defending one-on-one. He excels at not only getting a tackle in and his foot on the ball, but winning back possession after tackles and starting counterattacks or build-up play for the lions. Thriving in the air as well, Noah looked sharp defending corners and other set-piece situations and clearing the ball out with headers. He isn't the most polished defender quite yet, but only a freshman, I am certainly expecting Noah to develop his game into a strong, backbone defender.
