The game featured lots of physicality and tough battles across the pitch. He is very difficult to mark as he can either cut in onto his left or take it down the line and deliver the ball in. Lucas sent multiple tantalizing balls into the box as that seemed to be the Spartans bread and butter going forward. Lucas managed to notch an assist on the only goal of the game from a cross played across the six-yard box. He excels at clogging passing lanes and intercepting passes. He gets stuck in on challenges well, using his large frame to bully attackers off of the ball. His passing looked on point Friday night as well, delivering some good balls into the attackers from the midfield, along with some nice one touch passing in the midfield. Nolan is also great in the air, frequently outmuscling opposing players to get his head on the ball over them. The center mid is the focal point of the team when bringing the ball up, as almost every other pass seems to go through him. You can tell Diego resembles his game of a player like Sergio Busquets, as he is very calm and controlled on the ball when his team is in possession. He makes good turns and touches with the ball, never losing possession. His passing was brilliant in the game as well, as the set piece taker he put in some great corners and crosses from free kicks. His pace is perfect for his role as a wingback, as he has the ability to make long forward runs in behind the defense while they are already marking the other attackers runs. His dribbling was quite good as well, getting past multiple defenders on the left flank. His quick turns and elite dribbling make him a difficult attacker to get the ball off of. His tall frame allows him to win lots of aerial battles as well, making him a serious threat on corners or crosses in the box.
