2A Matchday 3's Best Players

After a week break to let teams who started the season late have a chance to catch up, highlighting the best players from the 2A level is once again necessary. Like always, many matches were played in Matchday 3 that left us with a plethora of talent. Narrowing it down to a few is always a difficult task, but these were the best.    Charley is an immense talent as a striker, proving herself wonderfully in this matchday. Skillful and very attack-oriented, she always looks to get into the box to create danger. In tight spaces, she will pull something out of the blue and skip past the confused defenders. When she dribbles, she has a change of pace that leaves defenders in the dust. Turning defenders inside out is a fantastic ability of hers. However, combined with her finishing, she becomes a lethal attacker. Her brace proved to be the game-winning goals, helping her team keep their top spot. When she shoots, her shot power is impressive as well.     Amelia is a great, well-rounded striker with promising potential. Her positioning is fantastic, often finding herself in spaces to generate danger. Rarely leaving her position between the left half space and left interior channel makes her easy to find for her teammates. Even though she plays in a very fixed position, she advances plays constantly. Whether it's through driving the ball forward herself or playing in passes, she always keeps her progressive mentality. Her passes are great, too, not just rely on short passes for linking up. She plays balls through with precision to find a runner. Her finishing rounds out her ability, beating the goalkeeper with ease.     Ava is a striker who constantly thrives in the final third. Her intelligence when her team is attacking proves to be unstoppable. Her movements into space leave her in great positions to shoot, often getting clear goal-scoring opportunities. The plays she sets up with her strike partner help open the space she runs into. However, her ability to get forward is not the only impressive part of her game. She often drops back to help relieve pressure for the midfield or to make plays with them. Being far from the box doesn't intimidate her at all, which helps her team be progressive.     Although she primarily plays as a striker, Jazmin's talents make her a threat across the final third. Her playmaking is fantastic, but her shooting is even better. Being a complete talent in attack is the cherry on top of how well her team plays. The way she dribbles past defenders easily is also impressive. Her passes always look to create danger, regardless of where she's positioned when she plays it. Perfectly weighted and placed, watching her play these passes would make anyone believe that she's a midfielder. But when she shoots, she beats the goalkeeper easily. If she's in the box, she slots it past them calmly. If she's outside the box, she gets lots of power behind the shots.     Much like Jazmin before, Macie is a forward who generates danger from anywhere in the final third. However, her profile is different as she is an intense player. She makes sure that the defenders near her are on high alert, even when she isn't on the ball. The way she presses defenders is impressive, suffocating them into desperately ridding themselves of the ball. She chases down the ball, regardless of where it is. This incessant nature translates to her attacking abilities as well. She always looks to move forward, even if it means playing out of position. Selfless and attack-oriented, she always looks to create for her teammates first. This doesn't mean that she isn't effective in scoring herself, which makes her a complete threat.
