2A Matchday 4's Best Performers

Matchday 4 for teams at the 2A level left us with even more talent to discover. Between the constant performers and the ones that broke through this matchday, there is no lack of players to take a look at. These were the best performers, in my opinion.    Jenna is a very talented and multi-faceted striker who takes the reins of her team's attack. Her ability to move into space makes her a threat for the opposition all game long. With a goal on this matchday, she proves her prowess in the box. However, finishing chances isn't all she has to her game. Her vision is fantastic, finding runners with pinpoint through balls. Watching her without paying attention, she seems like a midfielder with her passing ability. Constantly dropping deep to link up with her teammates, her team is always spearheaded thanks to her sacrifice. Her deliveries from wide are great too, whether they're crosses or driven passes.     Reeve makes her <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2025/03/2a-week-2s-best-players/">second appearance in this series</a>, performing spectacularly in a high-scoring match. Consistency is her greatest attribute, never letting up on her goalscoring and technical ability. Fast and attack-driven, she is a headache for the opposition when she's on the pitch. Not only is she a menacing player in open play, but she proves to be one on set pieces, too. Scoring a hat-trick in this match, her third goal came in the form of an "Olimpico". The goal doesn't find the back of the net through any deflections either, entering cleanly.     Although Kate only got one goal contribution in a 9-0 win, she proved to be an exciting central midfield talent. Intelligent and always loving being on the ball, she has the correct attributes for a midfielder. Helping connect defense with attack, she is the catalyst through the center for her team. Playing balls either out wide or into the box, she looks to get her team in a prime position constantly. When her team is attacking without her being on the ball, she takes up a great position to shoot or create from. Her goal comes from her great positioning in the box, finding the back of the net easily.     Raylee is a goalkeeper who has bags of potential and who helps out her team amazingly. In a hard-fought 1-0 win, Raylee helped keep her goal on lock. Rushing off her line comes easily to her, acting as a sweeper inside the box. Regardless of whether it's a cross or a pass played in, she always looks to get the ball first. She also always looks to catch the ball. If she parries it, she does her all to get it back into her arms. One of her best attributes is calming down play by lying on the ball. This helps her team regroup after a dangerous attack.     Maria is part of a very talented North Forsyth midfield, being the leader on the ball. Every attacking play goes through her feet since she looks to be in possession constantly. She doesn't look to cheaply have possession either, dribbling or passing forward. Her passes aren't safe passes as well, looking to play in great through balls. If she needs to pass back, it's only to help move the play forward. Her shifty dribbling helps her create space to play passes as well, clearing the path for herself with style. She also is the penalty taker for her team. Seeing how calmly and easily she scores them, it's no surprise as to why.
