Class Performances from Pinecrest Academy vs. St. John Bosco Boys

It was a great and important victory for the St. John Bosco Gray Wolves over rivals the Pinecrest Academy Paladins. Bosco's second game around against the Paladins and final of the regular season see them finish with a 7-5 record.    A dynamic player, O'Neil provides a lot of quality on the field. Playing in the midfield as a number 10, he excels at picking up the ball, dribbling up the field with speed and skill, and delivering quality passes. He is constantly moving, checking, and showing for the ball, always playing with his head up. His tidy and technical style is evident in his excellent ball control, keeping the ball close while executing well-timed and weighted passes. Additionally, his finishing is clean; he strikes the ball hard and aims for the corners. O'Neil is a quality player, well-rounded and hardworking.     Calmness and control personified, Bacharach plays a key role in not just the midfield, but throughout the field as well. His great and close ball allows him to seamlessly glide through the pitch and opposition players, using both feet well. Never forcing the play, he always has his head up and knows his next move, whether it is a simple pass back or just holding the ball. Along with this, he is able to pick out great passes in through the defense or to switch the field. Bacharach is a very technically gifted player who keeps it simple, and every team needs someone like that. His abilities take him and his team far, bringing organization and instilling confidence.     Thomas is fast, physical, aggressive, and technical, having the qualities of a great central-attacking midfielder. Always looking to make runs through the opposition's defense, Rivard is direct and effective, even off the ball pulling players out of position and creating space. His passing is very good as well, playing to feet and perfectly weighted and timed through balls. Rivard provides the reinforcement for the attack and gives 7 out 10 performances consistently.     Baxter is a technical and tactical midfielder. Able to play anywhere in the midfield, he is constantly moving up and down the field, being of support for the defense and offense. Cool, calm, and collected on the ball, his physicality makes it very hard to take the ball from him; he takes small touches and dribbles with speed. He switches the field and picks out long balls with ease. Baxter often goes under the radar, providing quality on and off the ball.     A tidy, skillful winger, Duarte is a constant threat on the ball. Looking to take players on, he weaves in and out of players with his agility and pace. He is a great dribbler, keeping the ball close to him at all times, carrying the ball up the field well, and dribbling to open space. He is also very dangerous in the final 3rd, finding the corner's precision. Duarte plays his role to perfection, working hard for his team, providing both goals and assists.
