Heat Surf was on Fire during the 2024-2025 Season

The team made waves this season by never losing an ECNL showcase match. Heat Surf 09 ECNL thrived under the leadership of coach Boris Gujic. Defensive standouts were [player_tooltip player_id='23722' first='Claire' last='Taft'] and [player_tooltip player_id='277179' first='Kenya' last='Johnson'], who were critical players in the match and provided lockdown defense. [player_tooltip player_id='23753' first='Madison' last='Schubert'] and [player_tooltip player_id='277180' first='Evelyn' last='Contreras'] were huge standouts at the playoffs, with multiple goals and assists on offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The team fell to [program_tooltip program_id='283405' first='Marin' last='FC'] in the finals after Halle saved a one-on-one attack and took a hard hit to the head, suffering a concussion only 5 minutes into the game. After Barrett left the game, Marin surged, leveling the score at 3-3 at halftime, with [player_tooltip player_id='277175' first='Josephine' last='Hulet'], a talented midfielder, taking position in goal for the first time.
