Hernandez is one of our top ranked prospects in Illinois in the 2027 class and she has been playing at that level at the start of the season. She was the best player on the field in the win over KC Athletics to kick off the campaign. She scored a wonderful goal from outside of the box and had the delivery that led to the second goal for her side. Hernandez is one of the most technically gifted midfielders in the Midwest. She is going to be a key player for the Eclipse ECNL 09 squad this season.

Gretna Elite Academy finished last season as champions of the North America Cup. They've carried over that winning form into the 2025/2026 campaign. With a 3-1 record through the first month of the season, GEA 09 ECNL looks like one of the top teams in the Midwest this season. The squad is built on a terrific defense.

McGill is a versatile player who can play in the midfield or defense. She was outstanding in the shutout win over Eclipse. The left-footed player reads the game well, anticipates where to be to help her team, and delivers excellent cross-field passes. She is composed on the ball and plays with her head up. McGill has the pace and athleticism to be a lockdown defender. Her play on the left in the back three has been stellar, but the fact that she could feature in midfield or outside back should be a huge asset for scouts looking for a versatile, competitive player from a winning ECNL program.

Lukasik is another versatile defender/midfielder from the Midwest. She plays for the Michigan Hawks 09 ECNL. She's featured as the starting right center back during the opening fixtures of the season. She's a complete player - smart, skillful, and determined. She fits in perfectly with the Hawks style of play.

She's quick to think on the ball and does well in retaining possession for her side after winning the ball. She's got the physical tools to play early on in the college game. She's strong on the ball and has the pace to match up against speedy forwards.

Lukasik was a standout during the ECNL playoffs in San Diego and continues to be a top performer for the highly ranked Hawks 09 side.

Dancy was an ECNL All-Conference First Team selection in 2024/2025 so her standout play is nothing new or out of the ordinary, but the KC Athletics 09 right back has been terrific for her side during the opening games. Dancy is a lockdown defender. She moves her feet well and stays in front of the attacker. She times her tackle perfectly and gets stuck in to win the ball cleanly. She competes for everything. Dancy is going to be a multi-year starter at the Division I level and some program is going to be very fortunate to add that consistency to their 2027 class.

Chicago Inter is one of the Midwest teams that has started the season with some impressive results that raised eyebrows. Recent DePaul commit Ava Lambert has been on a terror through the first month of the season. The Inter defense has been equally as good. McGregor is a versatile outside back who can play either right or left back. She's an asset for her team. Her consistency and approach in every game gives the squad a dependable option to matchup against the top wingers in the conference. She tends to play as a connecting outside back - rather than a speedster that wants to get up an down the touch line. She is good at finding teammates with passes and can hit a shot on frame from over 30 yards out. McGregor has some quality that would suggest she could slot inside as a center back as well in the future.
