Rising ECNL Stars Highlight California’s 2028 Girls Rankings

She is a holding midfielder. She was named to the ECNL Southwest All-Conference Second Team last season. She is a defensive midfielder who is competitive, reads the game well, and works hard. Eves stood out for her play last season with her consistent effort for her side. She made a number of plays to impact the game from her role. She also plays for the El Salvador Youth National Team. She was on the U20 team at the Concacaf Event earlier this year. She can play anywhere in the attack. Castro is a great finisher with either foot. She's right footed, but she's scored quite a few goals with her left. She has a strong, accurate shot with excellent ball striking technique that shows consistency. Castro is good at getting shots off early. She is quick to identify when goalkeepers are off their line and bury the shots into the upper corner of the net. She is a winger who can play on either side of the formation. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She is also part of the ODP West Regional team. Speed, skill, and pressure are the three characteristics of her game. She gets past defenders with her pace. She has quick feet to dodge tackles. She has a good first touch and nimble footwork. She also plays with aggressive mindset to always be on the attack. She was named to the ECNL Conference Cup roster over the summer. She was also part of the ECNL Southwest All-Conference team for her play last season. Bologna is an attacking midfielder with a great player profile for the college level. She's got the skill, physical play, and quick decision-making to be a standout in her role for the long term. She's already found the back of the net at the start of this campaign, and been in the midst of the attack consistently for her team. She is a two-time ECNL Southwest All-Conference honoree. Recently, she was named to the ECNL Southwest All-Conference First Team. She's consistently been among the best players in the 2009 age group. She is a box-to-box midfielder who never comes off the field. She is always around the ball and does an excellent job at checking her shoulder and constantly scanning the field. She's good with either foot and can hit a pass or shot on either foot.
