Six Top Talents from Southern California in the 2030 Rankings

She has been a key player for that team for some time. She was a valuable piece of the defense that made the ECNL National Championship last season. She has been even better at the start of the season this year. Rodriguez is tactically brilliant. She's always in the right spot. There is quite a bit of pressure on her to stop the counter as Slammers usually hold's the advantage in possession and chances. She handles that duty with composure and veteran leadership. She has been a top performer in the Girls Academy for some time. She has also been called into US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. Hoffman is a skillful player with a well-rounded game. There is an obvious pathway for her to emerge as a top wingback in this class considering her two-way impact. She is left-footed, which makes her a unique talent. She has a good finish with her right as well. She is listed as a defender on her player profile, but she's featured as a forward for the past two seasons including in the ECNL National Championship game against Surf over the summer. McTheny is from Arizona but plays for Slammers so she is included in the California rankings. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She has quick feet, good strength on the ball, and the ability to play out of tight spaces. She is five-foot-10, athletic, and shows exceptionally quick reflexes. The shot-stopper for Reds was incredibly valuable for her club team last season. She was fearless off her line. She did a great job in shutting down chances with her timing of the challenge as well as her technique. Lekousis has good distribution, which includes accurate drop kicks and playing the ball with her feet as an outlet for teammates. She plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also feature as a box-to-box midfielder. She is right footed and hits some set pieces for her side. She is skillful with an excellent first touch. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events this season and looks to be one of the best midfielders in the ECNL. She is capable of taking over the game with her cleverness and skill. She plays right back for her club team. She has been called up to US Soccer U14 Girls National Team camp and been part of US Soccer Talent ID events recently. Kelly is a terrific defender - compact, quick, and fierce in the challenge. Kelly offers quite a bit in the attack too. A dynamic change of pace plus the skill to whip in a cross at a full sprint.
