The New Jersey High School soccer season is officially complete. Check out our boys player of the year and top runner-ups.

Player of the Year:

Sean Tarsatana, Washington Township:

The senior midfielder led the seven-county South Jersey region in goals (31) and assists (23). He powered Washington Township to a 20-2-2 record en route to the South Jersey Group 4 title and the No. 1 seed in the sectional tournament. The Minutemen fell short to Southern in the semifinal round, 5-4, in double overtime. They also won the prestigious South Jersey Coaches Cup Tournament, in which Tarsatana scored five goals across four games in the single-season elimination format bracket to determine the top team in the region before the state tournament. He was more than a scorer, however, as he recorded six multi-assist games.

Runner-ups:

Kenny Cockerill, Deptford:

Cockerill was voted player of the year by the fans last month, running away with nearly 70% of the 11,000 votes cast. The senior forward finished with 25 goals for the Spartans, ranked fourth in the Tri-County Conference.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQiMZorDWPh/?igsh=ZXJrdmtmcDMxYTRm

Ayden Anderson, Washington Township:

Anderson complemented Tarsatana terrifically as the perfect one-two combo for Washington Township. In a breakout campaign, the senior forward netted 24 goals and eight assists for the Minutemen. His highlight of the year came when he scored the game-winning golden goal in overtime to lift the Minutemen past St. Augustine, 1-0, in the Coaches Cup Final on Nov. 1.

Mike Coluzzi, St. Augustine:

Coluzzi took a big leap from his sophomore campaign, scoring 17 goals and 13 assists for St. Augustine this fall. The junior forward served as the offensive leader for the Hermits, playing a key role in their exceptional 18-3-1 season, which included a Coaches Cup Final appearance.

Cooper Adinolfi, Shawnee:

The senior forward found the back of the net a team-high 10 times for Shawnee. He also spread the ball around, notching a team-high nine assists for the Renegades, who finished with an 11-6-2 record playing a brutal Olympic Conference schedule.

Amadu Jalloh, Williamstown:

Jalloh scored a team-leading 13 goals for Williamstown. The senior forward scored six times in one-score games this fall and accounted for 38% of the Braves' total goals.

Others under consideration (listed alphabetically):

[player_tooltip player_id='321624' first='Bryce' last='Ayars'], Woodstown

Chase Bowman, Ocean City

Mario Jacobo, Cedar Creek

Eamonn Sheehan, Haddon Township

Michael Stanwood, GCIT
