Eclipse Players on National Rosters - Elite Clubs Edition, Part 1

Featuring 5 Elite Players from the [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] Soccer Club in Illinois   USE THE PROMO CODE almasin30 for a discount on your first subscription   Here's Part 1 of the Elite Clubs Edition.  Most clubs would love to send one of their players to a national team, but with the [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] Soccer Club, they have 5 players representing 4 different countries.  Two represented the United States, one with Mexico, another with Puerto Rico, and the 5th player with the Wales senior national team.  That's correct, four with the youth national teams and one representing a senior national team, while earning her first CAP.   The [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] Soccer Club is definitely a model program, as it also sends their players to top-level Division 1 soccer programs as well.  Many of their teams are also fixtures at the ECNL National Playoffs and compete for the highest honors in the ECNL system.  I've covered a few of their players in previous articles, but I must say that this group of players will probably produce 3-4 future pro players.  I will continue to give updates on their soccer journey and see how far they can go.  For this Fantastic Five, the sky's the limit. Olivia Hassan - 2028 - ECNL [program_tooltip program_id='283328' first='Eclipse' last='Soccer Club'] - USA U16 - GK   She moved up the national rankings from #33 to #11 while keeping her #1 rank in IL and #1 position.  She continues to climb the ladder in the USYNT system, recently being part of the U16 to win 2 matches in Europe.  Olivia's most memorable experience was earning her first-ever international start in England and coming away with a win.  Her future looks bright with the Red, White, and Blue.  She is very calculative with her positioning while quickly moving off her line.  Due to her height and athleticism, she can cover most areas of the goal.  Her strong hands, technical abilities, and quick reflexes make her one of the best goalkeepers in the nation.  Olivia is locked in on helping her team get back to the ECNL playoffs and making a strong run to the finals. Aybree “AJ” Sanchez - 2027 -  ECNL [program_tooltip program_id='283328' first='Eclipse' last='Soccer Club'] - Mexico U17 - Forward/Defender   The Utah commit recently was called to the Sub-17 Femenil Mexico National Team Roster.  She competed in three matches during the Torneo 4 Naciones (4 Nations) against Costa Rica, Canada, and the United States.  Previous scouting reports noted that she has the versatility to play as a back.  Her offensive strengths were making good plays to get to the end line and sending crosses in the penalty box.  She also protected the space behind her on the defensive side and added to the team's buildup during counterattacks.  The #223 nationally ranked, #13 in IL, and #4 in position will definitely be on the radar from scouts at the higher levels. I was fortunate to have Olivia share some insights on her most recent competitions and future soccer journey.  It's always a bonus when a player takes time out of their busy schedule to support players in preparing for interview questions.  It also gives the scouts and coaches a glimpse of who the player is and who they aspire to be.   5-Questions and Olivia's Responses:   1. What are some soccer events/showcases you have participated in during the past few months.   "Over the past few months, I've traveled to Georgia for a domestic training camp (the first of the new rotation), England for an international training camp, and Phoenix for the ECNL Showcase."   2. What was one of the most memorable moment/s of those events?   "The most memorable experience was earning my first-ever international start in England and coming away with a win!!"   3. Are you currently playing high school or club soccer?   "I am currently playing club soccer for [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] ECNL."   4. What is one or two goals you have for the high school or club season?   "This season, my goals are to help my team compete for the ECNL playoffs and have strong showcase performances, while continuing to grow as a player and teammate on and off the field!!"   5. Is there a club player, collegiate, or professional soccer player who inspires you?   "A professional soccer player who inspires me is Alyssa Naeher, the goalkeeper for the Chicago Stars and a former U.S. Women's National Team goalkeeper. She inspires me because of her mental toughness, leadership on the field, and incredible shot-stopping ability!"
