Here's Part 1 of the Elite Clubs Edition. Most clubs would love to send one of their players to a national team, but with the [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] Soccer Club, they have 5 players representing 4 different countries. Two represented the United States, one with Mexico, another with Puerto Rico, and the 5th player with the Wales senior national team. That's correct, four with the youth national teams and one representing a senior national team, while earning her first CAP.

The [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] Soccer Club is definitely a model program, as it also sends their players to top-level Division 1 soccer programs as well. Many of their teams are also fixtures at the ECNL National Playoffs and compete for the highest honors in the ECNL system. I've covered a few of their players in previous articles, but I must say that this group of players will probably produce 3-4 future pro players. I will continue to give updates on their soccer journey and see how far they can go. For this Fantastic Five, the sky's the limit.

1. Olivia Hassan - 2028 - ECNL [program_tooltip program_id='283328' first='Eclipse' last='Soccer Club'] - USA U16 - GK

She moved up the national rankings from #33 to #11 while keeping her #1 rank in IL and #1 position. She continues to climb the ladder in the USYNT system, recently being part of the U16 to win 2 matches in Europe. Olivia's most memorable experience was earning her first-ever international start in England and coming away with a win. Her future looks bright with the Red, White, and Blue. She is very calculative with her positioning while quickly moving off her line. Due to her height and athleticism, she can cover most areas of the goal. Her strong hands, technical abilities, and quick reflexes make her one of the best goalkeepers in the nation. Olivia is locked in on helping her team get back to the ECNL playoffs and making a strong run to the finals.

Mia is an emerging youth player with a lot of potential. She was called up to Puerto Rico's Women's U-14 National Team. She played in three matches against Martinique, Bermuda, and the Dominican Republic. Her [program_tooltip program_id='283327' first='Eclipse' last='Select SC'] ECNL G11 team is currently in 2nd place with a 12-5 record. I'm looking forward to an evaluation during the next ECNL Phoenix Showcase. Based on her ability to compete at the highest levels of competition, she will most likely have opportunities to rise in the Illinois state rankings sooner rather than later.

The Utah commit recently was called to the Sub-17 Femenil Mexico National Team Roster. She competed in three matches during the Torneo 4 Naciones (4 Nations) against Costa Rica, Canada, and the United States. Previous scouting reports noted that she has the versatility to play as a back. Her offensive strengths were making good plays to get to the end line and sending crosses in the penalty box. She also protected the space behind her on the defensive side and added to the team's buildup during counterattacks. The #223 nationally ranked, #13 in IL, and #4 in position will definitely be on the radar from scouts at the higher levels.

The Penn State commit is a steady fixture with the USYNT system. She has made various team rosters, going back to as far as being identified in 2022 at the USYNT ID Center for Girls 09 in St. Louis, Missouri. Her experience through the multiple youth teams has brought her to a recent U17 Georgia Training Camp roster, which ran from November 24 to December 1st, 2025. She will be part of the U17 team, which will focus on qualifying for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Previous scouting reports noted that she splits her time between defensive mid and center back positions. She can make win-backs on the defensive end and create buildups through a solid passing game and using excellent positioning. The #25 nationally ranked, #3 in IL, and #1 ranked in position is poised to continue her journey with the Red, White, and Blue.

The Northwestern commit was recently called to the Wales senior national team. She earned a CAP while starting in a friendly against Australia. Previous scouting reports noted her as being fast, strong, and consistent. She can find players in space and make strong and clean tackles. Good decision-making plays a big part in her success, as she uses a high soccer IQ to get win-backs and win aerial threats. Gwen is also good with keeping possession, as it is a definite requirement to playing at the highest level. It's just a matter of time before she makes the jump to the pro level, but it will also be great to see her compete at the collegiate level next year.

I was fortunate to have Olivia share some insights on her most recent competitions and future soccer journey. It's always a bonus when a player takes time out of their busy schedule to support players in preparing for interview questions. It also gives the scouts and coaches a glimpse of who the player is and who they aspire to be.

5-Questions and Olivia's Responses:
