Rising Talent in Illinois from the last months of 2025

The end of the calendar year is here, and here is a look back at some of the players from Illinois who have impressed scouts from recent club soccer events.    Chiprich is a center back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283346' first='FC' last='United'] 2011 Girls Academy team. She plays left center back for her club side. She is five-foot-nine. She's good either foot. She's been part of the Illinois State ODP team. Chiprich is a standout defender who is fearless in the tackle. She uses her long legs to poke the ball away but also shows strength in the duel with her technique. She is quick to play the ball off her feet and spring the counter-attack. She has the physical profile and soccer smarts to be a target for top programs from the 2029 class.     Castelan is a winger on the [program_tooltip program_id='283326' first='Eclipse' last='Select'] 2011 ECNL team. She also plays on a boys team, that has been successful in the NPL. She was called into Mexico's El Camino U15 team over the summer. Castelan is a dynamic attacking talent. She is elusive on the dribble with how she can cut on a dime and accelerate or decelerate at a blink of an eye. Castelan's ability to win 1v1 makes her a top target on the wing from Illinois.     Eyer is a forward from Chicago Inter 2013 ECNL. She is an emerging talent in the state from the 2031 class. She raised her profile at the ODP level. She was unstoppable last year at the Far West Championships with five goals and eight assists. She has all the tools to be a top striker in this class for a long time. She has speed, skill, and power. She has great composure in front of the goal. Eyer is a top talent to know from the upcoming 2031 class.     Komacki is a goalkeeper on the Galaxy 2011 GA team. She is also on the ODP Midwest Regional Team. She's been called into US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She is an athletic shot-stopper. She has excellent hands and great diving ability. She can make saves not many other teams in the country can dream of pulling off. She was excellent in the opening half of the Girls Academy Champions Cup game against Indy Premier.     Szczerowski is a forward on the Eclipse 2010 ECNL team. She has been called into US Soccer Talent ID Center events recently. She has been a breakout star of the 2029 class recently. She is utilized on the right wing, but she's left footed. She finds a lot of success in cutting inside and ripping off shots from those 1v1 situations. Szczerowski is an excellent defender and shines in the press. The defensive instincts give some potential to her as a wingback in the future. She's an undeniable impact player at the ECNL level.     Sester is a defender on the Galaxy SC 2011 GA team. She was part of the Girls Academy National Talent ID event last year. She is an outstanding center back who wears the captain's armband for her club side. She's excellent as an on-ball defender. She uses her body and controls where the attacking player can go, then she times her tackle perfectly. She's been a real star in the GA.
