Elon University’s Committed Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Staying with the theme of collegiate soccer, I turn my attention to schools in the state with confirmed committed players on Prep Soccer. The first school in line is <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/college/elon/" id="https://prepsoccer.com/college/elon/">Elon University</a> in Elon, NC. She is reliable in high-stakes situations where she's forced into action. Her height is an advantage in these situations thanks to her reach in tackles. The attribute on which all of her others build is her match awareness. Both her defensive and offensive awareness are spectacular, especially for a player so young. Typically, she plays as a defensive midfielder, which allows her to have more action during the match. Her defensive attributes are phenomenal, winning the ball thanks to her determination, intelligence, and strength. Any duel she goes into, she goes into it as the favorite to win it. However, even with all of that, I would say that the role that may suit her best is as a freer midfielder in a double pivot. Her skills and agility are dazzling. She gets past her markers almost as if they were just a slight inconvenience. Her passes are also perfect. She may not be the main chance creator playing so deep, but she is definitely a playmaker. I also believe that her attributes can easily see her slot in as a defensive midfielder as well as at center back. Her main characteristic is how dominant she is defensively. It doesn't matter on which flank and at what height of the pitch she's at, she will impose herself strongly. Her tackles are as strong as they are tidy. She doesn't go into them rashly, but also doesn't allow the attacker any opportunity to recover before her team regains possession. Her anticipations are just as good, too. She'll pickpocket a winger before they even get the ball. She snuffs out any potential danger out wide before it materializes meaningfully.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
