US U14 Boys NT Talent ID Camp – Central/Northeast Region Roster

He is listed as a winger in most spots, but he can pop up as a center forward too. A fluid athlete with composure on the ball, Edwards has been the key piece for NYRB and has every trait scouts look for from a player in his position. US Soccer scouts must view as more of a center back for his international future. I can see the reason for the position switch. He's an excellent game-reader. He has an acute understanding of tactics. His distribution on the ball is a strong point of his game. He needs to improve his first touch and speed of play. His effort and competitiveness certainly shine. He has lots of quality to suggest he can star at this event. Club teammates Leo Castelli and Tripp Williams are ones to watch too.
