The team's EPIC journey to the championship match started long before a December tournament in Norco, CA, to qualify for the championship tourney. They had a super impressive 28-1-1 record up to that point. After finishing in second, LAMO received the ninth seed in a field of the top 16 GA clubs from around the nation.

Their impressive showing at the tourney included winning all four matches against higher-ranked teams. Most importantly, this team did not concede any goals in the four matches. Stellar play on defense and in the goal was one of the keys to their success. Goalkeeper Gianna Brown made big-time saves to keep a clean sheet throughout the tourney and help the team play with confidence.

LMSC won their first match against 8th seed Utah Celtic by a score of 3-0. In the last three matches, they went on to beat teams by 1-0 scores for a tournament 6-0 goals scored to zero conceded. In the championship match, they needed 7 minutes of overtime to get the golden goal and win the championship over second-seeded [program_tooltip program_id='283295' first='City' last='SC'] from Carlsbad, CA.

She is known for her “tactical brilliance” with the ability to create scoring opportunities. Scouts have noted her to also play as a winger and defender. Her versatility will increase her chances at playing at the higher levels. Dahlia scored a few key goals en route to Lamorinda's national title at the Girls Academy Champions Cup National Championship in Bradenton, Florida. She was also recently invited to the U.S. Youth National Team (USYNT) Western Regional mini camp in Carson, CA (February 18-22, 2026). It's safe to say that she will be a player on a lot of scouts' radar.

Previously, scouts have noted her as a versatile and high-impact player on offense. She is consistent in generating high-percentage scoring opportunities and makes good decisions in her positioning on the field. Naomi excels as a winger and has the skill sets to play at multiple positions on the pitch. She was previously invited to the U.S. Youth National Team (USYNT) Western Regional mini-camp in Carson, CA (February 18-22, 2026). She has also received invites to the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) Talent ID Camp in San Antonio, Texas (June 8-9, 2025). Naomi is a talented player who will get more looks from both sides.

Boey Brooks - Forward

Our scouts previously noted she is a player who can get on the end of a cross while in the 18. Her ability to make aerial challenges is also a strength, and she is great with scoring on headers and with her feet. Boey is a resilient player who never gives up on a play and battles for every contested ball. She was the centerback who helped to keep a clean sheet en route to the team's zero goals conceded in four matches en route to the Girls Academy national championships title.

Abigail Adam - Defender/Forward

She can make runs down the flank and has the versatility to play up as a forward. Playing primarily as a defender, she helps anchor a stout defensive line, which did not concede a goal in four matches en route to a national championship. She was noted as providing a key crossing header assist for one of the matches to help secure a win. Abby's contributions on both ends of the field will definitely help her gain attention in the recruitment process.
