Rankings Preview: New Additions to New Jersey 2028 Rankings

The Prep Soccer state rankings for the New Jersey 2028 class will be released next week. Prior to the release of the new rankings, check out a scouting report on some of the new names added to the rankings with this u[program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last='']te.    Brownlee has been one of the best players in the Girls Academy this season. She is a forward with unlimited potential. In every game, she finds ways to impact the play. She is a determined player who has undeniable quality on the ball. She's been part of US Soccer Talent ID events as well as talent ID events for NWSL teams. She's got quickness and strength. She can play as a striker or support striker. She does well playing off the shoulder of the defender and creating separation. She's shown the ability to drift away from her mark and then strike with lightning quickness when the opportunity is available. Brownlee is one of the players who has impressed at every GA event this season. She's the top new addition to the New Jersey rankings.     Bredeson is a forward on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] Blue 2010 ECNL Team. She can play as the striker or one the wing. She has a good footwork and excellent ball control. She does well in tight spaces with the ball at her feet. She's got quick reflexes and the ability to maintain her balance while keeping hold of the ball. Bredeson has been an effective forward at the club and high school level. She's scored plenty of goals and been the leading scorer for her team over the past few seasons. She's shown all the quality as one of the best talents in the final third from New Jersey.     Brown is a defender from the [program_tooltip program_id='283474' first='SJEB' last=''] 2010 GA team. She plays center back for her club team. She was selected for the Girls Academy All Star team for the Generation Adidas event. She's been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. Brown has shown all the traits to be considered among the best defenders in the state. She's a fluid athlete who seems to be always under control with her actions. She has been a dominant defender at the club level and continues to elevate her game with each season. She has a bright future in the sport.     Reilly is a defender on the Match Fit 2010 ECNL team. She plays outside back for her club team. She played in a more advanced role for her high school and was a prolific contributor in the final third with goals and assists for an outstanding sophomore season. Reilly has been equally as brilliant in the ECNL at left back. She stands up wingers with her tackling ability and strength. She's quick to get the ball off her feet and she gets forward when the opportunity is available. She has a ton of upside as an outside back for the college level. ?     Powell is a defensive midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] Blue ECNL 2010 team. She's an engine of the midfield for her team. She's a constant worker who rarely comes off the field. She has the range and versatility to cover a number of spots. She is everywhere on the field. She was outstanding during the ECNL Phoenix event. There are moments when it feels like she can be more physical in the duel or get stuck into a challenge with her full strength. But her recovery speed and endurance eliminate chances for the opposition with ease. Powell has impressed at the start of 2026 and emerged as a key player on one of the top teams in the ECNL.     Kelly is an outside back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283407' first='Match' last='Fit Academy'] 09 ECNL team. She is right footed but can play on either side of the formation. She's comfortable on the ball and plays with her head up. She's a solid 1v1 defender who does well in delaying the attacking player and forcing them into her support/help. Kelly has done well this season for her club team, which is one of the best in the country in the 09 age group. She looks calm on the ball and capable of playing under pressure.     Moshovos is a center back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283407' first='Match' last='Fit Academy'] 2010 ECNL team. She has been a key player on that team for a number of years. She plays as the left center back. She is a strong defender who can do a bit of everything. Her game awareness isa strong point of her game. She is excellent at anticipating and getting to the spots to help support her teammates. She has made a couple of highlight reel worthy last second tackles this season. Moshovos has shown the quality to be a difference-maker at the elite club level from the center back spot.     Leckerman is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283426' first='PDA' last=''] White 09 ECNL team. She is an attacking minded player who looks to spring the attack with her excellent vision and cleverness on the ball. She's got quick feet, close control, and a competitive spirit to stand out as an impact player at the ECNL level. Leckerman has been one of the top performers at recent ECNL events for her team.
