The boys' class of 2028 in the southern Piedmont region keeps up with the quality present in the previous classes. This list of 21 players wasn't easy to choose, but it definitely is full of quality and potential. Also, this list has more diversity in teams and less reliance on high school in comparison to the previous ones. These players are performing at high levels at such a young age, which bodes well for what they might become. It is also important to note the greater presence of South Carolinian players playing in the southern Piedmont region academies. South Carolina has had a presence in previous articles like this in both the boys' and girls' sections. Looking at northern South Carolinian soccer talent is something to consider, especially given the quality we see from these players. Most of them come from Fort Mill, but there have been a decent few coming from surrounding cities and towns.

As has always been the case in this series, the italicized players are the standout players. They will be getting their own dedicated articles where I will be evaluating their talent more in-depth.

Goalkeepers

Name

School

Club

Cooper Budd

David W.
