We have highlighted the top 10 strikers from the graduating classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029. There are players who will make an immediate impact at the college level and some future professionals. He is one of the best strikers in the country and the best in the state of Florida. He has size, speed, and the skill to score quality goals. He has a lethal left foot and can use power and curl shots around goalkeepers. He attacks crosses very well and uses his height to attack all types of crosses. He has a big frame and he uses this in his hold up play. Lucas makes great runs for entry passes and is a constant threat up front. His biggest asset is that he is a finisher. He will shoot from any angle at any time and his goals can catch keepers off guard. He has power and placement in his finishing and when he puts his laces through the ball, it causes lots of problems for goalkeepers. He can play as a 9 or on either wing. He has exceptional speed and agility. He is a constant threat in behind the back four and is the perfect player you want as the first line of defense. He presses incredibly well and will make it extremely difficult for defenders to calmly pass out of the back. He is also prolific in front of goal. With 27 goals he is second in the nation in his age group and number one in the state of Florida for goals scored. He plays as a 9 but can play anywhere in the attacking three positions. He has a college ready made frame and uses his body well. He is not all power, he has great movement and he can get his shots off in close proximity of defenders. He had four goals for his team at MLS Flex and has 13 goals for the season. Peter was a standout last season as he led his team to the ECNL Championship and they are a favorite this year as well. He has real quality in front of goal and can make an immediate impact at the college level.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Rijkaard is a striker for the Orlando City MLS Academy. The former Houston Dynamo product is one of the top strikers for his age and has been called into the U15 US Youth National Team. He is a blend of athleticism, technique, and mentality. He has a great physical profile that translates to the pro game. He is agile and strong enough to play with his back to goal, he also has big strides that propel him beyond defenders. Where Rijkaard sets himself a part is in front of goal. He can score goals in different ways and turns half chances into quality scoring opportunities. He has good timing and desire to get on the end of all types of crosses and can finish off the ground and in the air.
