Georgia Rankings Update: Eight Players Earning Their Spot

The Prep Soccer state rankings for Georgia will be update this week. Prior to the release of the rankings, check out a scouting report on eight new names to the rankings with this update.    Flecky is a forward on the [program_tooltip program_id='283303' first='Concorde' last='Fire'] Platinum U16 ECNL team. She was outstanding during the playoff run in Seattle. She's a hardworking forward who is an excellent two-way player. She is a determined defender who will do all the dirty work to help her team win possession of the ball.   When Flecky gets the ball at her feet, watch out. She has pace and skill to burst past defenders with ease. She has a tendency to get to the endline and whip in a cross. She's effective in getting that ball into a dangerous spot to create chances for her side. She's an elite talent in that regard.     Mason had a breakout season for both club and high school during 2025-2026 and the expectations are even higher for the upcoming season. Mason was an All-Region Second Team selection as a freshman for Hillgrove.   She followed that up with one of the best performances from a center back during the ECNL playoffs. Mason was a star at left center back for her club team, [program_tooltip program_id='283303' first='Concorde' last='Fire'] Platinum. Her partnership with [player_tooltip player_id='290419' first='Berkley' last='O'Brien'] (one of the top 2030s in the country) proved to be among the best defensive duos in the country.   Mason is a smart player who displays a ton of confidence on the field. She has an extremely bright future in the game.     Omelogu is a center back on the [program_tooltip program_id='279107' first='Tophat' last='GA'] Gold 2011 team. She's on the radar for the <a href="https://thenationonlineng.net/highly-rated-precious-omelogu-eyes-flamingos-shirt/">Nigeria Youth National Team</a>. Omelogu had some standout moments during the playoffs. She's a strong defender who reads the game well. She is physical in the duel and uses her body well. She's capable of progressing the ball up the field off the dribble. She's an excellent dribbler for the position. Omelogu might be slightly overshadowed on her team with the sheer number of National Team players in that age group, but she is a star on her own and should be the radar for scouts from the 2029 class.     Ramos is another star of the [program_tooltip program_id='283303' first='Concorde' last='Fire'] Platinum postseason run. The right back jumped off the screen with game film. She really can do-it-all from her spot on the field. She's an elite 1v1 defender, and backs that up with some of the best support defending you will see at the youth level.   She's not the tallest player on her squad, but she's among the best in aerial duels. She had a couple of clearances in the game against So Cal Blues that looked like she jumped off a trampoline.   Ramos is a skillful outside back with massive potential to be a game-breaking talent on both ends of the field.     Aston is a box-to-box midfielder from [program_tooltip program_id='283358' first='GSA' last=''] 2010/2011 ECNL team. She was one of the standouts from the team during the ECNL playoffs. She also holds the distinction as a youth player called up to the French National Team, which I don't believe many US based players have had that honor.   Aston is a clever player with excellent vision. She is capable of playing out of tight spaces thanks to her close control and quick thinking. Aston has top level potential and has been a star at the club level in the past year.     Benner is a defensive midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283358' first='GSA' last=''] 2010/2011 ECNL team. She is a bulldog in the center of the field. She hunts down the ball and wins duel after duel for her side. Benner jumped off the screen with game film.   There's a lot to like about her player profile. Her physical play and toughness is there to be a top No. 6 for the next level. Her quick-thinking and decision-making certainly stands out as well. Benner has been a key player for her side and even a target on set pieces.     Carr is one of those unique players with the athletic tools to dominate the youth game. She's come into her own over the past season and emerged as a key piece of the uber-talented Tophat side.   She has blistering pace and composure in front of goal. She scored twice in Norco during the GA Playoffs, but she was unable to get a goal during the Finals in Richmond. Carr finding the way to impact the game against the top defenses will be the next step in her development. She's fully capable of doing it consistently against the best players.   Carr, a six-foot forward, is among the players in this class with the most potential. She's going to be a top player to watch during the 2026/2027 season.     Ballentine is a silky smooth winger with speed. She was a top performer for the SSA 2010 GA during the GA postseason event in Norco. She had a goal and an assist in the win over STA GA.   Ballentine does well in 1v1 situations on the wing. She brings the pace that forces the outside back to retreat immediately. If given the space, she will cut inside and can finish with her weak foot. If that option is closed off, she's capable of providing excellent service from the end line.   She is a game-breaking winger who displays a ton of confidence in 1v1 situations. She's got the attacking qualities all coaches seek out from a right winger.
