Best August Performers in the 5A and 6A Classes

<p>The 5A and 6A classes are part 3 of the articles looking at the best players from the previous month. With 9 players scoring 10 or more goals. The top of the assister leaderboard is a neck-and-neck between [player_tooltip player_id='409810' first='Elio' last='Anguiano'] and Hickory High School's Sam Bridges. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Amro is a dynamic striker who likes to get involved in building plays. He'll gravitate to wherever there is space to get the ball in. His link-up play is crucial in creating space behind the defense so he can make runs towards the goal. His goal tally proves how effective he is once he's in a goalscoring position, with his finishes being composed.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Elio plays as a striker but moves around wherever the team needs him in the final third. This sees him sit atop the assister leaderboard as of now. The flair with which he moves on the ball is unbelievable. He leaves defenders behind them almost as if they weren't there. His passes are just as impressive, given where he pulls them off from. Pressure from the defense doesn't faze him when playing in a ball behind their line for a teammate running in. His positioning allows him to gain an advantage when pulling these off too. He has fantastic attacking awareness, and it allows his team to be fluid in attack.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">6A</h2>   <p>.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Christopher is a skillful and flairful winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder. The left-footed player is deadly on either wing. Playing from the left, he shoots across goal with the precision and power necessary to beat the goalkeeper. From the right, he can either go for power or placement instead of needing to combine both. Centrally, he's more of a creative player. His resistance under pressure makes him a difficult player to defend before getting into any of these positions. He's also a set-piece specialist. He creates chances from dead balls and is also a great penalty taker.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Westin is a fantastic attacking midfielder who can also play out wide. He is a very technical player who adapts well to any context when attacking. Whether he's under pressure or in open space, he constantly manages to find a path forward. It's this progressive nature that allows him to drive his team up the field, in turn making them an attacking powerhouse. In my opinion, his best ability is his flairful passing. He pulls off some of the most impressive passes I've seen so far in the final third. Trivelas and perfectly lobbed passes are more than just skills for him. He creates chances from where other players can't see them.</p>
