In this article, we will preview these collegiate level prospects in question: Following a great GA season, Larocque has not slowed down in being that midfield tank. Gathering pace off quick touches, the mobility to separate herself from the pack is clear. Making use out of short combos, play is expanded across the shape, allowing for better goalscoring positions to be occupied. Solid aerial control, bringing balls down to quickly find an outlet, or to simply carry it along. Direct striker who poses a threat in advancing the sequence, and making movements inside the box as a goal getter from close range. Involved in short passing play in the outside. When final third play reaches the box, Ferrer is ready to take up the opportunity. Seeing how defenses are aligned, "the spot" is then found as it comes naturally. Student athlete with great alignment to have a clear line of sight. Fast footwork, using to establish starting points for a multitude of saves. This footwork is also seen in distribution, sorting feet with different dribbling patterns, preparing then hitting the mark on long balls. Rushes out with the proper urgency for overhead throws or punts, done accurately with a purpose. Grimsich is a wide attacker with a profile predicated on positional play. Whether a center forward or target winger, the objective of opening key attacking zones is completed with clarity. Occupying drop spaces, inviting overlaps or finding playmakers, the task regardless of opponent is identified. These tasks are completed through application of role in specific zones, maximizing actions in context of how Benfica like to play. Thornton is an AM / DM whose contributions are present across the pitch from one end to the next. Covering ground to set herself up for (depending on position) winning the ball or receiving to make something happen in central openings. Has a clear mastery of side foot technique, ensuring options down the flank can control in motion before attempting to create chances. CM who navigates a way across wide channels. Using pace, simple combos and guided movements, passes funnel in and out naturally to desired senders and objects. Agility is present when recovering loose balls, removing that question mark to get stuck in. Puts good use into overloads, engaging in passing play that can derail the concern of being outnumbered.
