Legends FC 2012/2013 Standouts From U14 Phantom Division Title

The victory from Legends over San Diego Surf prevented the home club from a clean sweep in the three age groups. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Legends squad only conceded one goal from the three games in San Diego. The strong defensive performance led the way for the squad against some of the best teams in the country. She scored, provided assists, and showed excellent game awareness in helping to see out results in tough battles. On Monday, Argueta did an excellent job killing off the game late with her play in the corner that limited the amount of time Surf had with the ball late in the contest. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Argueta scored the lone goal of the game from the spot. She was also involved in creating the chance that led to the first penalty kick of the game. Balderas play in the final against Surf was stellar. She was good off her line and cut out some passes over the top.
