Washington Girls 2030 Class: Inside the Latest Rankings Release

The Washington State girls class of 2030 rankings have released and there are loads of talent up and down the ranks. The debut rankings release feature 36 athletes that we believe have been making an impact throughout the summer and early high school season while playing for their respective clubs and/or teams. This initial release is NOT the end all be all. Many more athletes have the opportunity to jump into the rankings as well as move up (or down) as updated releases drop approximately 2-3 times per year! If YOU want to see your name on the next release, make yourself visible! It is glaringly obvious to us who puts in the work at practice but also grinds on off days. When that whistle blows, it is imperative that you show everyone just how much work you have been putting in. Ultimately, if you impress yourself, others will see you the same way. Along with your daily pursuit of excellence, POST your achievements, accolades and hard work for ALL to see! Instagram, X, YouTube - Make those platforms your personal SportsCenter with your own highlights any chance you get! Not only does this celebrate your own successes, but it also celebrates the teammates, coaches and family that helped you get there. Also, don't forget ... not all college coaches can see every match you dominate in BUT they can easily check your social media to see your highlights. Post often. Lastly, making ranking lists are awesome and definitely help with visibility, but it is the work you do when nobody is looking that will ultimately get you noticed! Now, it is time to talk about some of the athletes that were included in our Washington State class of 2030 rankings! Grabbing the #1 spot at the top of the class is [player_tooltip player_id='410389' first='Chloe' last='Zehnder'] representing Sumner High School and [program_tooltip program_id='283517' first='Washington' last='Premier FC'] ECNL. She has that 'it' factor that is hard to ignore, especially as a freshman! She is a goal scoring machine, and her work rate is currently unmatched in her class. Look for Chloe to continue her success throughout the HS and ECNL seasons. Here are five other athletes that are setting the tone for the 2030 class: Winn has all the tools and drive to be one of the top goalkeepers in her class. Not just in regionally but nationally. This has already been evident by her USYNT call ups and stellar HS and Club play. Hadley uses her length well to get to elevated shots and has the power and push to make post to post plays. Don't be fooled by her lean frame, she has a commanding presence in the box and has no issues getting physical or putting herself in harm's way to secure possession. Playing for an ECNL powerhouse like XF Academy, keeps her skills on point because they continually draw the top opponents in the country during showcase season. Hadley is one to watch moving forward and she will continue to make a name for herself in the GK ranks. You can also catch her representing the Kangs of Lake Washington during the HS season. Sophia has been impressive and on the radar for a minute. She possesses a powerful strike from distance and consistently beats opponents to the edge. Barbagelata creates chances in the final third like she scripted them. Her skill and field awareness is on point and provides smooth transitions into the attack. Being only one of two freshmen rostered on a storied Skyline HS program says a lot. She is solidifying her spot amongst the top attacking players in her class, and I have no doubt she will continue to grow in her position. Mikayla has risen up the ranks quickly and this is because of her work rate and ability to perform under pressure. Having played for 2 top ECNL clubs in the region, she understands what it takes to stay on the pitch and make her presence known. Raddue is dangerous from range but can also drive to net and produce well placed finishes. Currently ranked amongst the top 10 forwards in the state, Mikayla will continue to build off her early success and look to separate herself from the pack. Check out Raddue and her Eastside Catholic Crusaders as they continue their push for a Metro League title. Lexi was made to play the winger position. She blends technique and ball control with speed and physicality that is hard to look away from. If you're looking for an athlete that has the total package, you may have found her. On one end of the pitch, you will find her battling relentlessly to dispossess attackers and what seems to be moments later, you'll find her flying up the touchline making crosses or taking shots on frame. It's special. Wan and her Bellarmine Lions are still sporting an undefeated record this season. Keep Lexi on your radar because her name is going to be mentioned a lot in the coming years. Roach is quickly becoming a dominant force at the midfield position in the PNW. Her unique combination of size, strength and speed is deadly. Her physicality is notable and she uses it perfectly to win a high percentage of 50/50 balls. Vivienne is a defensive minded player but has no qualms with pushing forward and slotting weighted passes to her attacking teammates. She can also place dimes on frame too. Roach will undoubtedly be in the conversation when accolades season comes around. She's a fun one to watch.
