MATCH PREVIEW: Total Futbol Academy vs. City SC Southwest

KS Sports Network | Scouting Preview

This weekend, KS Sports Network will be on the sidelines scouting the matchup between [program_tooltip program_id='283757' first='Total' last='Futbol Academy'] (TFA) and [program_tooltip program_id='283295' first='City' last='SC'] Southwest, with coverage extending across every age group.

While I've had the opportunity to watch TFA throughout the season, I have yet to scout [program_tooltip program_id='283295' first='City' last='SC'] Southwest this year. I'm particularly excited to get my first look at their talent, identify potential standout prospects, and add some new names to my scouting radar.

Player to Watch: Danny Diaz | TFA U17

The No. 1 player I'm looking forward to continuing to monitor is TFA U17 forward Danny Diaz.

Diaz is an extremely talented attacking prospect who has shown plenty of impressive moments throughout the season. His ability to make an impact in the final third has made him one of the players I've been especially interested in following.

As the season progresses, I'm eager to continue evaluating his development, consistency, and ability to influence games against quality competition.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dephub-hZ5j/?srtk=ajFkdjZpdTZwbjN3

Rising Prospect: Delilah Andrade | TFA U13

Another player I'm extremely excited to watch is U13 prospect Delilah Andrade.

Andrade is a dual-rostered player who also competes with HB KØGE in the ECNL landscape, playing a year up with the U14 age group while remaining a serious contributor to the success of TFA's U13 team.

She's a player I've developed tremendous confidence in as a prospect. In fact, I'd go as far as to predict that when her age group becomes eligible, she'll eventually earn an opportunity with the United States Youth National Team.

That's how highly I regard her potential.

Competing across two demanding environments, including playing against older competition, makes her development especially interesting to follow. She's certainly a name I'll continue monitoring closely.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DfXhD3nq0Zo/?xtok=cHhtZjkzbXN1ZG5l

Looking Ahead

Beyond these two prospects, one of the biggest things I'm looking forward to is discovering new talent from [program_tooltip program_id='283295' first='City' last='SC'] Southwest. Having yet to scout the club this season, I'm approaching this matchup with an open mind and a genuine interest in seeing which players separate themselves across the different age groups.

Following the games, KS Sports Network will publish a scouting report highlighting the standout performers, emerging prospects, and players who made the strongest impressions throughout the day.

Stay tuned for our post-match coverage as we continue identifying and following some of Southern California's most promising young soccer talent.
