Expert Analysis

One of my favorite players I’ve covered this season, Ethan has been pouring in goal contributions for the South Forsyth War Eagles this year. With 10 goals on the season, Ethan has been finishing at a high level. scoring headers, volleys, low driven shots, high finessed finished, it doesn’t matter from where for the Junior. He is very confident on the ball, making the right decisions on whether to take on a defender or two, or find an open teammate somewhere on the pitch. He dominates the game in the midfield, winning 50/50 balls and making touch challenges to gain possession. A special player scouts should keep their eye on heading into his senior campaign.

Although he didn’t manage to notch a goal or assist Tuesday night, Ethan still proved to be a problem for the Raiders defense. He constantly makes runs to draw defenders away, creates space when on the ball with his dribbling, and has some nice quick passing with other attackers. He can finish at an elite level too, narrowly missing the mark on some long range efforts outside the box. Also a weapon in the air, getting above defenders to get his head on the ball.

There really ins’t anything negative you can say about Elmore’s game. His technique is well above far, his finishing is superb, and his dribbling and passing are on of the best in the state. He really is an all in one midfielder. With 2 goals in his opening game this season, one via a strong header off a corner and the other a magnificent run down the left, you can only expect nothing short of a big year for the upcoming Senior and his team.

Ethan put on a spectacular performance in the midfield, scoring two goals in the first half. One of which was created by his ability to beat two defenders down the left flank before slotting home a far post finish. With elite finishing and playmaking, Ethan will be a player to watch out for during this upcoming season.
