How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am very involved in our teams playing together. As a goalkeeper I am able to view the field and talk with my teammates about what a see. Also playing in the field as a center back for many years, I feel that my foot skills allow me to distribute the ball with more accuracy and power.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a very team oriented person, I want the best for all my teammates. I feel it’s important to be able to take criticism along with compliments and learn from both equally.
Being a positive person and focusing on making sure that I am successful and surrounding myself with positive energy is important to me and my future.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Fellowship of Christian athletes
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am involved is the Christian sports group at my high school. Putting the priority in being a positive role model for other students and kids watching. I feel I am a leader on the field- working alongside my peers to ensure that we all remain strong and positive.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have been sidelined due to an injury. Watching my teammates sometimes struggle when I am not on the field was difficult. I continue to cheer them on and assure them that they are doing well.
We also live in a different state than I play club, this makes it difficult for connecting with teammates outside of the field. It has helped that I have the most amazing and welcoming teammates-
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a strong academic college- a good student community and of course a great soccer team
