About Mia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive style of play with a voice that leads!!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am an easy going person with a great personality and easy to talk to. Game days are a different story!! I like to lock in and mentally get ready before each game. Music is on and I am locked in.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Love to help out in the community when I can get away from the busy soccer lifestyle!!! I have participated many of times at Feed My Starving Children. I love dogs and love to help out shelters whenever I can get a chance to.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last year I dealt with a UCL injury and mentally it took me down. It took me a lot of time to get back to my game and I am more motivated now then ever before. I was on varsity for my freshman and sophomore year but had to sit behind a two year all state GK that also played ECNL up in Rockford with me. On my Rockford Club team I play behind the U16 National Goalie.

What type of college are you looking for?

Love to play in a warm climate school and for a Power 4 team where I can come in and compete.

Olenek is a goalkeeper on the Rockford Raptors 09 ECNL. Olenek is also part of the Illinois ODP team. She is an excellent shot-stopper. One of the best on penalty kicks. Olenek has the athleticism to reach every part of the goal. She is an excellent diver with good technique. Her distribution is good on the drop kick. She is right footed and looks to be improving on her ball striking consistently. Olenek has the athletic profile to be a player at the next level in the goalkeeper position. Her determination and work ethic is going to make her a top prospect in the region from this position.
