Always calm and always under control, Puerta is a talented midfielder who can play as a No. 8 or as No. 10. She has excellent technique when striking the ball on the move and often tries her luck on shots from outside of the box. Thanks to the strong fundamentals those strikes tend to result in either goals or rebounds as she puts the shot on frame more often than not. Puerta’s quality as a goal-scoring threat from the midfield position makes her a top prospect in her role.
