Her ability to place herself in high percentage scoring range is a testament to her ability to scan the field and anticipate the best angels of attack when making runs at goal. She can also make clean and precise passes. The Mississippi commit is poised to have a stellar senior year and give her MVLA team a good showing at the National playoffs.

Martinez is a midfielder that just seems to be on another level in terms of her vision and understanding of the game. She has the daring and the ability to play balls that most players would not and could not play. She can drop a precise pass, splitting defenders, and do it with either foot. She understands when to come for the ball and when to let the ball run and her combination play is as good as you will see. She understands what space to occupy, whether she’s doing so to be dangerous or to be available for her teammates.
