Grimes and her Sting Dallas Black G08 team will be faced with Mustang SC, Concorde Fire Platinum and MVLA in Phoenix. A new addition to the team this season, she’s been forming an excellent center back duo with Reese Liner and the two have helped their team allow just six goals in ten matches in their undefeated ECNL Texas campaign so far. There’s really nothing missing in Grimes’ game as she’s physical and intelligent enough to deal with any forwards and also has the technical tools to help the team in possession, besides being a threat in the air.

While plenty of the spotlight has been on Sting’s exits, they’ve also made some key additions this season to go along with the key returners. Tyller Grimes Tyller Grimes Tyller Grimes 5'11" | D Timber Creek | 2026 State #301 Nation TX is one of those players who should move into a prominent role with the team immediately. Grimes was the starting center back for DKSC last season. She showed in those games how competitive she is as she regularly won the battles against the top forwards in the conference last season. Now, she will get a taste of pressure with Sting Dallas Black having expectations of advancing back to the Nationals Finals again in 2024.
