has shown versatility this year, playing a lot of right back, which should help her as an all around player before heading to Radford next fall. She uses her pace to put a lot of pressure on the opposing outside player to help back on defense. When she does receive the ball on the wing, she whips dangerous balls into the box and earns tons of corners for her team. Defensively, her speed and athleticism make other teams have to really work to get past her. She also anticipates passes well, baiting the opposition into playing balls into her path, turning them into counter attacks. Though she’s only 5′ 2″, Kendall remains a threat on set pieces to put the ball in the back of the net with her head.

Funk loves to use her speed to her advantage on the wings but can also play the provider role through the middle of the pitch. While on the smaller side, she finds herself scoring many headed goals in the box by picking up good spaces. Funk is a natural finisher and always looks to take leadership in the attack for her team. Radford University has found another great potential player for next fall.

is a forward with loads of pace, great instincts, and a well above-average work rate. The All-Region player is willing to make any and every run on to balls in behind the defense. She also does a great job of pressing as soon as her team loses possession, often times winning the ball back, or simply slowing down a counter from the other squad. She has always been a “fox in the box,” first to the ball in the area, unafraid of physicality, and scoring goals in any way possible. Add in her ability to find space in between lines and spray passes around the field, or to operate in wide areas and deliver strong, dangerous crosses with either foot… and you have one of the most effective forwards in her class.
