Players You Should Know – 2025 VA Boys

With the high school season now over, I have compiled a list of some of the central VA players you should know about that impressed this season. He ends up on the score sheet some, but most of what he does is not found there. A physical presence in the middle of the field that rarely loses an aerial battle. It's easy to lose track of how many headers he wins in most games. He uses his excellent ball control and a wide array of body feints and moves to get by defenders. One of those players that seem to be faster dribbling a ball than running without it. Blalock really stands out when playing in a CAM role, receiving the ball in between lines and then causing pure chaos for the defense with his pace, dribbling, and passing. James is a key to unlocking defenses. He has the size to be successful at the position at the next level. Houser uses his long frame to extend his shot-stopping ability into the corners of his goal. Henry has improved his distribution and play with the ball at his feet immensely in the past 12 months.
