ECNL Boys Playoffs Standouts – Part III

From the opening whistle Price was a physical presence in the midfield. Winning possession, keeping it, finding open teammates, creating attacking chances, winning aerial duels, he does it all. Very intelligent when receiving the ball, he knows when to switch fields and is a very accurate passer. His good pace puts defenders on their heels and he takes full advantage, driving at them and changing directions on a dime to get in behind and create chances. Stefan also shows great movement off the ball, flying into open spaces for his teammates to find him. Does a good job of holding up the ball with his back to the goal and picking out the right passes as his team moves up to join him. He looked very comfortable as a right back, picking out attacking players on the left side of the field with long passes early in the game. u0022Money,u0022 as it seemed his teammates were calling him, has very good passing accuracy, and is able to make those long diagonal passes. He was able to make quick turns to the open side of the field to relieve his team of the constant press put on by Pipeline. Asmath used this space he created properly to find teammates in open space.
