COLONIE, N.Y. – The annual Northfield Mount Hermon (Mass.) vs. Worcester Academy (Mass.) clash lived up to the hype as the showcased match Saturday night at the NXT LVL Invitational.
NMH handed Worcester Academy its first loss of the season in a 1-0 decision.
NMH senior standout Babacar Diallo scored the game-winning goal. Keeper Alastair Hafner Schnee had the shutout in goal for NMH, which improves to 4-0-2. Worcester falls to 3-1.
Avon Old Farms (Conn.) 1, Kimball Union Academy (N.H.) 0: Oscar Pickett netted the lone goal as Avon Old Farms (2-0-1) edged Kimball Union Academy.
Combine Academy (N.C.) 2, Bridgton Academy (Maine) 0: Noa Perez Noa Perez M Combine Academy | 2024 NC and Creighton commit Santi Marin netted the goals as Combine Academy completed a 2-0 showing at the event. Jason Verhoogen had an assist.
High Mowing School (N.H.) 1, Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) 1: Flavio Gomes scored on an assist from Caleb Santos as High Mowing took a 1-0 lead. Oliver Wray scored for Western Reserve to tie the match.
Hill School (Pa.) 1, Hotchkiss School (Conn.) 1: Ben Brown converted a first-half penalty kick for Hotchkiss School and Jake Thomas responded in the second half with a goal for a Hill School in a tie game.
Hoosac School-1 (N.Y.) 3, Phillips Exeter Academy (N.H.) 0: Harun Bakaran, Manuel Angel Rico Leitao and Felipe Maia scored the goals in Hoosac’s victory.
RMPUS Gold (Canada) 1, St. Andrew’s School (R.I.) 1: Abraham Mugagga, a freshman from Uganda, gave St. Andrew’s a lead then Arouna Ngame tied it in the second half for RMPUS Gold.
Choate Rosemary Hall (Conn.) 2, Lawrenceville School (N.J.) 0: Andrew Jean-Baptiste and Juan Delgado scored goals for Choate.
South Kent School (Conn.) 5, Proctor Academy (Vt.) 0: Pietro Greselle and Geir Magnusson each scored twice, and Miguel Cruz added a goal in South Kent’s win.
RMPUS Elite (Canada) 3, Trinity Pawling (N.Y.) 2: Lucas Poussard, Laurent Gauvin and Felipe De Moura Chaves scored for RMPUS elite. Salvatore Zanzi netted both goals for Trinity Pawling.
St. Andrew’s School (R.I.) 2, Hoosac-2 (N.Y.) 1: Chris Bianco and Abraham Mugagga scored the goals as St. Andrew’s edged Hoosac School. Ander Tuduri Belaustegui scored for Hoosac.
