Jean Anelson Azard Scores 45 goals for Pike
Selected to the High School All-American Game, Anelson Azard had a season for the ages. Tallying 100 points with 45 goals. Averaging 2.0 goals per game. He led Pike to the regional semifinal where they took state powerhouse Carmel to a penalty shootout. Super athletic prospect up top with outstanding speed and footwork to break free.
Eli Moody Scores 4 in Boys 2A Championship, Dominates for Marian
Moody’s four goals last weekend was a state-championship record. He ended a historic season with 17 goals and 14 assists for the Knights. The 2024 F/M brings so much energy as a #10 or #9. Excellent with both feet and super technical on the ball.
Noblesville Boys Three-Peat in 3A
Wining two championships in a row is an extremely difficult task. But winning three is other-worldly. That’s what Noblesville just accomplished in the Indiana 3A championships. Knocking off Indy Cathedral 2-0 in the state championship. Senior Samuel Holland led the team with 17 goals and 7 assists. Ashton Craig Ashton Craig D IN was another valuable asset who scored the game-winning goal in the state championship game. Primarily a defender, he makes is presence felt on both ends of the field. Netting nine goals and five assists this season. Look out for freshman Ben Hewitt to become the leader of this team going forward. the 2027 product scored 13 goals in his first year.
Noblesville Girls Also Win in 3A
How bout that! Both the boys and girls soccer programs at Noblesville captured 3A soccer titles over the weekend. The girls overcame an early deficit to capture a 3-1 win. Junior F Meredith Tippner was their biggest standout this season. She tallied a goal and dished out two more in the championship game while scoring 21 other goals on the season. A tremendous all-around athlete with great footwork and speed around the ball.
Bright Future for Carmel Girls Soccer
The Greyhounds were consistently a threat in the Indianapolis area throughout the fall. They went 17-0-3 before losing a 2-1 heartbreaker to Cathedral in the postseason. Despite that, I fully expect Carmel to return stronger than before and compete yet again for a state championship. Sophomore Adalyn Cameron Adalyn Cameron F IN led her team in scoring this season with 15 goals. Junior Olivia Ceballo was also a big presence in the midfield and tallied seven assists to go along with 11 goals.
