How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tenacious! My height, speed and strength give strikers and wingers pause entering my side of the field. No offensive player will freely enter my space without feeling immense pressure and defensive tenacity from me and my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I grew up around in a very competitive family. All of my family members are athletes. My older brother and I both played competitive travel soccer. I am also humbled to play this game that I love. Some of my closest friends are my teammates and we each share a love of this game. I'm also deeply appreciative for my parents, teammates and coaches for all the support they've provided me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Aside from soccer, I have been a highly sought after athlete in our local travel basketball programs for Fairfax Country; winning the league championship twice. Additionally, I tried out and started for my HS volleyball team my freshman year and never played before. I'm currently earning all A's and B's in my high school sophomore year. Given my 2.5hr commute to soccer, no time for anything else.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing elite level soccer has provided such an amazing education as a human being. I've succeeded and I have failed. I have led and I have been directed. I have been praised and I have been scolded. Through it all, I have recognized the importance of learning and growing every day. I love my teammates and my coaches for all of theses experiences who have made me the player I am today.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As an athlete playing in an elite league, every practice, game and tournament is a challenge. I've started with a new team every time I wanted to achieve a high level of success. Leaving teammates you love is tough, but so is breaking into the culture of a new team. I've had coaches that I've loved that have moved on; soul crushing. And personally, I've dealt with death of childhood friends.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play for a college whose players, coaching staff and administrators want to win a National Championship; period. I want to play for a program that wants to dominate on the field, attract the most talented and competitive players and a program that seeks to give back to youth soccer to inspire young girls to be the very best that they can be on and off the field.
