As a whole, they did a good job of finding the open player in the flow of play. They showed they like to play short on goal kicks and displayed confidence in building out of the back. Defensively, they shift together and cut passes well to make the next action predictable. There were some errors in the match but did well defensively. In the attack, SUSA FC showed they had good ideas of how to break through. There were a number of times SUSA FC’s forwards were caught offsides but most of those moments were very close to changing the game. Set pieces were their biggest threat. Although SUSA FC had some errors and unfortunate moments in the attack, overall, they showcased good ideas to play through teams and hard-working players all around.
Mia Claro
Mia Claro
Mia Claro plays as a midfielder for SUSA FC G08. She showcased that she has a strong left foot and is comfortable having defenders on her back. She was able to turn off defenders and take space well on the dribble. Claro is brave with the ball and displayed a willingness to take a chance on frame. She has a good touch out of the air and connects her passes well. Defensively, Claro reads the game well and is strong into challenges. Overall, Mia Claro is a strong midfielder and showcased her strengths throughout the entire match.
Kaitlyn Tansey
Kaitlyn Tansey
Kaitlyn Tansey plays right back for SUSA FC G08. Tansey excellence on both sides of the field. Defensively, she showed she is a smart player who doesn’t just think about the moment happening right then. She displayed that she thinks three steps ahead with movement and decision making. Tansey was strong and smart in her challenges. She did very well in two v one situations more than once. Tansey displayed she has great communication to those around her to organize their defensive shape. She showcased that she isn’t afraid to join the attack and had great movement after connecting her passes. Tansey also showed she crosses very well from anywhere on the right side of the field to create chances for her teammates. Overall, Kaitlyn Tansey displayed a great performance in the right back position and was difficult for forwards to get real chances in the attacking third.
Sadie Gordon Sadie Gordon 5’1″ | F Garden City | 2026 NY plays as a forward for SUSA FC G08. Gordon is a hard working player in the attack and defense. She showcased she has a good touch and passing throughout this match. She is brave in the box and has a willingness to get a touch. Gordon was able to score a header for the only goal of the match. She checks her shoulder more than most before the ball is played to her. She makes good runs through the back line but isn’t afraid to check back to support and be an option. Gordon has a strong right foot and showcased her ability to switch the field to relieve pressure from her side of the pitch. Overall, Sadie Gordon Sadie Gordon 5’1″ | F Garden City | 2026 NY is a hard working forward with the ability to play difference roles in her position based on what the game is like. She had a good performance and earned the goal she scored.

Olivia Trojanowski plays as a forward for SUSA FC G08. Trojanowski is quick, strong and likes to be played through the back line. Unfortunately, she had a few moments offsides but wasn’t by much though. Defensively, Trojanowski works very hard for a forward. She put in a good amount of work to make the game difficult for the defenders and was constantly looking to cut passes. In set pieces, Trojanowski showed she is smart and likes to be silent to create her space in the box. She did well in the box and displayed she is brave to win the ball in the air. Overall, Olivia Trojanowski is a fast forward who continues to work every minute she is on the field. It was unfortunate not to see more in the attack but overall did well when she did have the moments to be a threat.
Francesca Curatolo Francesca Curatolo D NY plays a center back for SUSA FC G08. Curatolo showcased quickly in the match that she is strong into tackles and recovers well for her teammates. She has a strong right foot and does well connecting her passes. Curatolo had great crosses during the match and uses her height to her advantage. She can break lines if it’s on and connects her simple passes well. Curatolo showed at good angles to be an option for all those around her. Defensively, she did well in giving no time to forwards being played to their feet in the defensive third. Overall, Francesca Curatolo Francesca Curatolo D NY did well in the back line for SUSA FC. She was brave in the right moments and very consistent throughout the match.
