James Andrew James Andrew M Jesuit Sacramento | 2024 CA , Jesuit, Class of 2024
Andrew is the biggest creative force for the Marauders and is great on the ball. He is creative and at the same time has good physical size, making him a matchup problem in the midfield. Andrew has a great shot, shows really great feet in tight spaces. He was invited to the National ECNL camp in August.
Tag Chalmers, Oak Ridge, Class of 2024
Chalmers is already destined for professional soccer as he will be moving on to CV Fuego of the USL after high school. He is a fantastic No. 6, a true pivot defensive mid. He has great ability with both feet, is very calm and tidy on the ball and can get anyone involved from any part of the pitch. He’s defensively sound and with a high soccer intelligence, he sees the game like a coach.
Dylan Ehlers Dylan Ehlers F CA , Davis, Class of 2024
Ehlers is a true No. 8, showing a great understanding of the game in terms of when to push forward or recycle the ball. He’s very calm and composed when on the ball, and being so allows him to see play develop in front of him and take advantage of the opportunities he sees. Ehlers is very strong on challenges and can break up transitional moments because of his smarts and being in good positions.
Oliver Fleet, Davis, Class of 2025
Fleet is a playmaking No. 10 who can score and distribute as well as anyone in the area. He knows exactly where he is in relation to the goal at all times and is always looking for an opportunity to create for himself or his teammates. He’s always very composed, even when in tight spaces around the box.
Carter Haynes, Rocklin, Class of 2025
Haynes is very versatile and flexible, and he can play anywhere in the midfield. He is dynamic on the ball and can create scoring chances out of nothing. He’s also very good if sitting deeper in the midfield and acting as a true distributor. He understands spacing very well and gets himself in the right spots and directs his teammates into the right spots as well. Last summer he was a member of the PDP team that played in Sweden.
Renner Smiley Renner Smiley M CA , Jesuit, Class of 2026
Just a sophomore playing on a senior-heavy team, as 19 of the 24 players are seniors, Smiley is playing a key role. He has moved more to the outside in order to allow him into space. He has great pace and is an excellent tackler, and he has a knack for goals, proving lethal from 30 yards and in.
Cade Vickers Cade Vickers M CA , West Park, Class of 2024
Vickers might be the best true athlete of this grouping. He finishes well with both feet and looks to get to goal whenever possible. He is also very strong and is a good tackler. He is used primarily outside as a wing or outside back for his club, but plays primarily the No. 10 for West Park.
Zavier Zuniga, Dixon, Class of 2025
Zuniga is very strong on the ball and is able to distribute well. He sees spaces and understands the flow of the game. Besides being a player that sees the game well, he’s also very athletic and very strong, making it hard to get him off the ball. Zuniga was also in the ECNL Continental All-Star game in Phoenix in November.
