Hancock is a defender on the GTFC Impact 08 team. I’ve mainly seen her play right center back, but I believe she could play a number of roles at a high level. Hancock jumped off the tape from game film for her defensive quality. She possesses elite quickness. She closed the distance on forwards in a blink of an eye. She was routinely first to the ball on entry passes and frustrated forwards relentlessly. Hancock is not the tallest center back in this class, but she outworks players on the field – and utilizes her other strengths. She was physical in the duel and showed good technique to keep her balance after contact so she came away with possession of the ball. She is good at distribution – but could improve some in that aspect. Hancock is an elite defender from outside of the ECNL and one of the players college scouts should be aware from this class.
