She is capable of getting at players on the dribble, and her ability to beat defenders allows her to create. She creates for not only herself, but for her teammates. She's a tremendous athlete who is dynamic in that she buzzes around the pitch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='54231' first='Riley' last='Pearson'], Central Midfielder, 2007 Blue</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pearson has a very high work rate and a motor that never quits. She also has great athleticism and ability, she times her runs into the box well and she covers a lot of ground, going box-to-box.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mari Rode, Central Defender, 2006 Blue</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rode plays with great intensity and is a total ball winner as a center back. She plays very smart, whether she's on the ball or defending off the ball. She is an excellent ball-winner in the midfield. She works incredibly hard and leads by example as teammates want to work as hard as she does.
