Mahteme was playing up for the U-16s against the Vancouver Whitecaps in a wild 5-4 game at Ohlone college. Mahteme was exceptional and scored a late game winner to top it off. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t in the Youth National Team set-up very soon. You don’t see too many kids playing up a year and dominating a game like that.
