About Elsa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Wingback, Outside Back, Winger: speed, work rate, toughness, versatility (left or right), vision, great touch and control, high soccer IQ. This ECNL season Elsa is a starter at the attacking outside back/wingback position and guards fastest forwards on the opposing teams. She uses speed, tackles, and headers and she sees the field and can pass with the right speed and accuracy.

Competitive and determined, no drama, a good teammate, goal-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.

Carlson is a defender on the Rockford Raptors 2009 ECNL team. She plays outside back for her club team. She is a speedy player who also featured as a winger for her high school previously. Carlson can play either side of the formation and has the quality to join the attack as well, which makes her an exciting prospect as a wingback – considering the pace, skill, and attacking mindset in the final third. Carlson has a unique skillset in that she has the quickness to match up against the fastest winger on the opposition. Having that quality from an outside back makes her a prospect that nearly every college coach could utilize in their squad.
