Bohannon was with the Solar SC team that secured a win and two ties in their matches over the weekend. She was one of the most productive players in her team’s last match in the event, a 3-3 tie with De Anza Force on Monday. While most players on both sides were showing clear signs of being exhausted, Bohannon continued to move around and look for the ball as she tried to push her team forward and create chances. She appeared in many different spots in the final third and tried to connect with her teammates with her intelligent passing. Bohannon was also prolific in 1v1 situations and managed to draw some fouls around the penalty box that generated good opportunities for her team to score.

Bohannon played the super sup role to perfection, coming off the bench in the second half to give Solar the goals they needed to take all three points. In the first of them, the forward was ice cold to convert a penalty kick. In the second, she showed determination to finish twice to score. Besides the goals, Bohannon also brought excellent movement off the ball and quickness to Solar’s offense, helping them create against a well-structured Albion backline.

Bohannon is one of four players to move from Sting to Solar in the offseason. The quartet were key pieces to their teams successful run to the National Finals and now they booster an already stacked Solar roster that saw three players move up to play on older teams in their club. Bohannon is an attacking midfielder or a forward. She is a high work rate player who comes from a soccer family. The drive to succeed is strong with her and the competitive nature of the Solar training grounds should elevate her game to another level.

Bohannon makes defenders uncomfortable. She presses and runs and defends and then she scores. She is a center forward on paper, but she is a nightmare for the opposition in reality. There is no free pass or easy build-out against Bohannon. She works non-stop when she is on the field. When she gets possession of the ball, she is quick to react and immediately goes into full attack mode.
