Energetic Midfielders scouts should know in Florida Rankings

All of those teams had midfielders who didn't necessarily earn a ton of statistics but shined bright from their consistent effort. She is a full-effort type of player who will commit to chasing down every play for her team. She is best as a defensive midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder. She has the type of endurance to bring the effort from the opening whistle to the final whistle. She could add a bit more physicality to her game - her tackling tends to be lower body dependent when she could be more engaged with getting her fully into the duel with all of her strength at times. Her quality on the ball is good, but her movement off the ball to create space for herself could improve. Foster is the type of player every coach wants because she gives the full effort for her team and her competitiveness makes a massive difference. She is a hard-working player who is always hustling and putting in the effort. The willingness to move off the ball to create new passing angles is an easy aspect of her game that stands out from game film. She is good on the ball and gets it moving quickly off her feet. She is a willing defender - she can reach a bit in the tackle when it probably would be better to move her feet and put her full body into the tackle. She is right footed, smart, and physical. She is also a hard-worker. She covers a ton of ground. Every game I watched of Jacksonville last season, she was outworking her opponent. She was first to the ball and diligently moving off the ball to be in the right spot for the next play. She's good on the ball and makes key passes. She is a key contributor for her side thanks to her soccer smarts and activity. She is capable of regularly winning 1v2 in the midfield defensively with her ability to anticipate and active feet. She is one of the best players in this class in using her body and drawing fouls to work out of pressure - this is a skill that isn't appreciated nearly enough. Norris makes quick decisions on the ball and has good footwork.
