With Fontenot on the backline, Classics Elite RL 08 had a win and two losses over the weekend. A very physical defender, she played on the left side of their center back duo and did a very good job of stopping plays. Fontenot used her physical tools well to win duels, make clearances in the air and the ground and knock opponents out of plays, but was surprisingly quick and explosive to get to the ball and make interceptions. A lefty, she did a solid job with her passing too, especially when connecting short ones.
