Top midfielders from Frontier Conference at GA Winter Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top teams in the Girls Academy League will head to Norco, California, over the next few days for the league's annual winter showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The SilverLakes Sports Complex will host matches from December 5-9, generating exciting duels between some of the league's best teams and plenty of opportunities for prospects to showcase their talent against elite-level competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Frontier Conference, which features teams from Texas, Missouri and Louisiana, will be strongly represented in the event, featuring many promising prospects, who will be closely followed by those in attendance. As we approach the start of the event, let's continue to bring up some of those names. She joined the team this season and has been playing in pretty much every position on the left, giving them considerable strength on that side of the field. Ludeke is an offensive-minded player who's excellent at using her pace and dribbling ability to create chances. A lefty, she keeps the ball very close to her foot when in transition and is very difficult to dispossess. Besides being very strong in 1v1 situations, she can also make combination plays more centrally, moving very well off the ball. An attacking midfielder, she moves well without the ball and is always around the action, offering a passing option to her teammates and facilitating plays. She's very quick in her mind and often finds smart passes that break lines and create goal-scoring situations. She's one of their most important players, helping the team control the central area of the field and dictate the pace of matches. Cross does solid defensive work, shielding Rise's backline efficiently and thriving in intercepting long passes and winning duels. An excellent passer, she is terrific at moving the ball around and, even when under pressure, can find teammates in good spots and help her team generate chances.
