Rankings risers in California’s 2027 class

With speed, agility and quickness, Holliday can really impact a game. He's got quick feet and a lot of fast twitch. He can take defenders on and beat them with his skill, or he can out-think the opponents, showing a great tactical awareness. He is able to transition the ball quickly and help the defense get the ball to the second level quickly. He turns quickly, and with his shiftiness, he can beat defenders and open up a lot of space. He also can play a ball quickly because he turns and assesses very quickly. He's a smart player with great ball skills, tactical skills and awareness. He plays any position out wide. Whether he's a forward, a wide midfielder or an outside back, he can really good up and down the pitch and make plays. He's fast, he's quick with the ball and moves it really well. Wu just earned ECNL All-Conference honors with Association FC. He reads opponents well and stays in front, not getting beat easily. He's solid when it comes to deciding when to step for a ball, step up and pressure a defender, or keep shape and mark a player coming into the box.
