About Jadyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love the ball at my feet playing with a team that likes to maintain possession and build attacks from the back. I'm technical, can deal with pressure. I'm not afraid of a fight, having been small compared to everyone my whole life I love to get into a battle and fight for the ball. I win the ball in the air in open play and set plays. My team trusts me to take PKs and set pieces.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Soccer is my passion. I coach, ref and work in a soccer facility. I love being around the game- it brings me joy. On the field, I want to lead, helping my teammates with positioning and smart plays. I'm a competitor, but I know how important it is to grow and get better!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I grew late. I had to get scans because while I will grow to full height/size, I'm a late developer and 18 months delayed- which makes me physically like a 2010. I've always played at the highest level, and being so much smaller has made it really hard to earn my way. But I think it taught me to fight and now I'm catching up on physicality.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play for a school that competes at the highest level so I can continue to grow and be the best. I'm not afraid to earn my spot- I have had to do it all my life. I think a team that plays with the ball on the ground playing through the middle will suit me best, but I also know I need to be part of the solution that helps us win!

She’s a thinker as she finds space offensively and takes away space defensively with exceptional precision.
